In 1985, Bill Walsh opened the doors of McDowall Engineering, a family owned
and operated company, then operating in a modest size building at McDowall,
Brisbane, Queensland & specialising in robot mig welding.
Bill, (Managing Director) and his sons, Brett (Administration Manager) and Kevin
(Engineering Manager) together with their production team provide their
customers with 100+ years of accumulated industry knowledge, excellent service
and superior quality Australian made products.
McDowall Engineering benefits from Bill’s knowledge acquired as a result of his
Diploma in mechanical / electrical engineering and his previous 20-year
partnership in running the world’s second largest wedge wire screen
manufacturing facility located in Virginia, Queensland.
